bad day for technology
power outage this morning took out servers, which i'm connected to so my device has been offline for most of the day. glad it didn't happen tomorrow, otherwise i wouldn't be able to vpn in either.

then, by coincidence or related to said outage, outlook has been acting up all day and ate my post about my conversation with my aunt and my mother, two separate conversations. i usually write up a draft in an email, then copy/paste into blogger since that used to eat my posts too. sigh, there is no winning today.

let's see, what else? email isn't being delivered to liz's sidekick, nothing i can do, people are working on it.

last night, i tried to burn a cd but when i hooked up my ipod to my lappy, i didn't want it linked to the itunes on my lappy, which, if i interpreted correctly, would replace my ipod with what was on my lappy, which had nothing so it would erase everything? downloaded a tool to allow me to see hidden files, got my music onto my desktop but then it wouldn't import when i dragged the folder onto itunes. SIGH. why can't shit JUST WORK?

like the damn airport extreme. hooked up the printer to it, connected my powerbook in a heartbeat and printed wirelessly from it just fine but now i'm struggling with getting the old 7 year old pc to talk to it. @#$%&!!!
