do you have a favorite brand of underwear? i had been a devout j0ckey for her bikini wearer for years and years, and much to liz's chagrin, they were white. made laundry and shopping easy, but for her, i branched out to blue, black and gray. those were all the colors they made that i would tolerate wearing so that pretty much dictated what i got.

after 15+ years (HOLY CRAP! could it even be 20?!), even i tired of them. every now and then, to get me to try something else, liz would buy me a couple random pairs, and i bought some others, tried vanity fair and barely there and some other fun, cartoon themed stuff.

the vf wasn't bad, but too satiny and shiny so i feel like i'm wearing superman's underwear. the barely there felt...barely there. if i wanted to not feel like i have underwear on, i wouldn't be wearing any. except i have to wear underwear, just can't not. the cartoon stuff wasn't bad but not really what i want to wear all the time, not to mention hard to find since it's not a specific brand.

i bought some fun ones in the last shopping spree at the great mall. while the waist felt good, the leg didn't have good elastic so they moved. what's up with that?! i need a wedgie like i need a weak wrist shot, so back to the drawing board. this was also my second try with the barely theres.

then, for some reason, we were wandering the aisles of walm@rt. we have susan to blame for this. of all places to shop, i detest this one the most, seriously hate everything about it, even though i always find something there i "need" at a really good price. we found ourselves there one late night, i think looking for diapers and they were open late. i randomly picked up some hanes that i really, really liked. so much so that we went back to get more. damn it! i hate that place! wasn't pleased to find really cheap picture frames or the water bottle with a freezer gel pack in the middle either. no, not pleased at all.

but after such a long time with jockey, i'm happy to find another brand/style i like, which means i'll now be scouring the interweb for more. woo!
